Food labelling

Prepackaged foods intended for the final consumer or commercial kitchens must be labelled with information about the food in accordance with current Danish and EU legislation. Read more about the general labeling requirements in the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration’s instruction or in the EU’s food information regulation.

In tracezilla, you can create labelling information for the individual stock keeping unit under product information. See the tutorial Stock keeping units for an overall introduction to the product information.

With the module Power Pack, the labelling information can, among others, be used to create:

  • Product labels
  • Product specifications
  • Data extracts for use in Nicelabel and similar systems

In addition, some of the labelling information is included in tracezilla’s label with product information, which all users have access to.

The labeling information is a list of ingredients with quantitative ingredient declaration (QUID), information on allergens, certifications (e.g.organic) and nutrition declaration, among others. When the setup is in place, tracezilla calculates the nutritional content of produced goods with one click and provides automatic suggestions for the ingredient list incl. allergens, certifications and QUID.
