Languages
In order to add one or several language to a partner, to documents or to Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) the language needs to be activated under your Company Settings.
Activate language
1. Click on your company name in the top right corner and select Company Settings in the drop-down menu.
2. Click the button Open next to Languages in the section Documents and Templates.
3. A pop-up window will appear. Select a language from the drop down menu and click Add language. You can also see a list of already selected languages. You can chose a default language by clicking Set default.
4. Remember to click Save.
Now you can do the following:
• Add language to partner
• Translate text on document templates
• Translate the name of SKUs
Add language to partner
1. Click Partners in the top menu and select Find Partner in the drop-down menu.
2. Use the filter on the left to search for a specific partner. For example you can use the Keyword filter to type all or parts of the name of the partner. Click Apply to activate the filter.
3. Click on the partner.
4. Click Edit in the section Basic information.
5. Select a language under Preferred language. From now on all order documents related to orders where this partner is selected in the order header will be in this language.
Translate text on document templates
The texts on document templates and in e-mails are available in Danish and English.If you add a language other than Danish or English you must translate the text to document templates and emails. If you have not translated the text on documents, the text will be in English.
1. Click on your company name in the top right corner and select Company Settings in the drop-down menu.
2. Click the button Open next to Translations in the section Documents and Templates.
3. Scroll down to the text string for which you want to paste the text or use the top filter Filter translations to narrow the view. In the column on you far left you will see the text string which refers to the location of the text. In the middle column you have the translation into Danish which will appear on documents. In the column to the right, the translation that you insert will appear.
4. Click the button (the paper and pen symbol) on the right in order to edit.
5. Remember to click Save.
Translate the name of the SKU
When you create SKUs you assign them a name. If you would like this name to appear in another language on documents, you must enter the translated name after you have activated the extra language.
1. Click on Warehouse and select Stock Keeping Units in the drop-down menu.
2. Use the filter on the left to search for the SKU of which you would like to translate the name.
3. Click Edit on the right side next to the item type.
4. A pop-up window will appear. In the tab Names and Ident. you can now insert the translated name in the section Translations.
5. Click Save.
If you wish to translate the name of several SKUs it may be easier to do via an import template. Download the SKU template, insert the SKU name translation and reload the template back into tracezilla:
1. Click Warehouse in the top menu and select Stock Keeping Units in the drop down menu.
2. Click Import in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Click Get Import Template.
4. Once the Excel sheet is downloaded locally to your computer, you can open the file and freeze columns B, C, and D. This may vary depending on the program in which you open the file.
5. Scroll to the column CH where you can insert the translated SKU names.
6. Remember to save the file locally on your computer.
7. Go back to tracezilla and click Import > Upload file.
8. Chose the file from your computer.
