Matomo uses two kinds of cookies: Permanent Cookies and Session Cookies.
A permanent cookie shows whether the user is recurring, which search engine the user has used, where the user is from, etc. Permanent cookies are stored on your hard drive until they expire or until you delete them.
Session cookies are used to show when and how long a user is on the site. Session cookies expire after each session, i.e. when you close your tab or browser. Matomo does not link your IP address with other of Matomos information.

Personal information is any kind of information that refers to you. If you use our website, we collect and process such information.

This will happen when creating a user login, signing up for our Nwesletter or make a purchase (subscribe for one of our plans).
Security
We have taken technical and organisational measures against your information being deliberately or illegally deleted, published, lost, impaired or compromised, misused or otherwise treated in violation of the law.
Purpose
The information is used to identify you as a user, to register your purchases and payments, as well as to provide the services you have requested, such as to send a newsletter. In addition, we use the information to optimise our services and content.
Storage Period
Information is generally stored no longer than necessary.
The following applies to the storage and deletion of data in relation to the account and subscription:
- User data in the application is deleted 90 days after the end of the trial period.
- User data in the application is deleted 90 days after the Customer terminates the subscription.
- The user can choose at any time to actively delete their account and associated data within the 90 days.
- Personal information provided by the Customer in connection with subscription payment is stored for 5 years after termination of the subscription in accordance with requirements for documentation cf. Danish Accounting Act.
Disclosure of Information
We use a reputable third party to store and process data. These only deal with information on our behalf and do not apply them for their own purposes.
Transfer of personal information such as name and email, etc. will only happen if you consent to it. We only use computer users in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with adequate protection. The sub-processors used at all times appear on our website.
Insights and complaints
You have the right to know what personal information we treat about you. You may also object to the use of information at any time. You can also revoke your consent to processing information about you.
