Drop shipping (manually)
In tracezilla, you can do Drop Shipping of goods from a supplier to a customer, from a supplier to a producer or from a producer to a customer.
You can set up an automated flow. Go to Automated Drop Shipping
To do drop shipping, you link an order to another order.
Here follows a description of the manual drop shipping flow in tracezilla:
Link purchase order to a production order, warehouse order or sales order
- Create your purchase order. You can follow the instructions in this tutorial.
- When you have created your purchase order and added lot lines, you can tick off the lines and click Create as…
- You have the option to link the purchase order to a production order, warehouse order or a sales order. You can select an existing order from the list or create a new order by clicking the + symbol. Click Create to create the order link.
- If you by mistake created a link to the wrong order, you can delete the link. Click the chain symbol in the upper left corner. Click the red button illustrated as a trash can. Confirm by clicking Yes, delete now!
- Make sure that the order details and the delivery detail for the linked orders are correct.
- When the order is send, remember to click the button Dispatch order.
Link production order to a purchase order og production order
- Create your production order. You can follow the instructions in this tutorial.
- The production order must have the status Order to create the link. Click Edit in the middle of the screen and change status from Draft to Order.
- You can create the Consumed lots as lots on another order, if the specific lots is not selected, by clicking Create as…
- You have the option to link the production order to a purchase order or a production order. You can select an existing order from the list or create a new order by clicking the + symbol. Click Create to create the order link.
- If you by mistake created a link to the wrong order, you can delete the link. Click the chain symbol in the upper left corner. Click the red button illustrated as a trash can. Confirm by clicking Yes, delete now!
- Make sure that the order details and the delivery detail for the linked orders are correct.
- When the order is send, remember to click the button Dispatch goods for production. Click Receive finished goods when goods are produced.
Link production order to a warehouse order or sales order
