New interface for orders
Order pages: New look
We have focused on easy of use and made a major update to the order pages. This applies to all order types.
Visible fields
We have made more fields visible to make it easier for users to find the different features. Now order details, delivery information and comments are displayed at the same time.
Changes to buttons
Only one main button is displayed depending on the order status. For example: If the order has not been invoiced, the Create Invoice button will be displayed. If the order is invoiced and closed, the Re-open button will be shown.
The other buttons can be found under the purple button with three dots and an arrow.
We have removed the Create +/- Invoice button so now the invoice button is always called Create Invoice. For example, if you need to create a credit note for some items, you should make changes to an invoiced order and then click Create Invoice.
Key metrics and re-calculation are at the top of the page
Key metrics are moved to the top of the page. The other important parts have been moved to the top- as are the Auto and Manual buttons and Re-calculate (the button is shown with a round arrow). Previously, they were under the Service lines tab.
Quick access to documents
On the right side under Documents you can see the same documents that you could see under Quick access to documents. The display of these documents is more compact and the @- button makes it easy to email documents with a few clicks.
Delete services
Now you can also delete service lines with the Delete button.
How do I switch to the new interface?
You can switch to the new interface in Company Settings > Misc. > User Interface > Versions > Order View. This change will affect all users in your company.
